This short educational video aims to educate 8-11 year olds on the difference between using credit and debit. The illustrations are intentionally imperfect, playful and full of personality. The typography is custom designed to be easy to read yet just wonky enough for it to be consistent with the style.

Process

Nearpod provided us with the epic song to base our script on. Our goal for the project: fun, attention grabbing scenes that conveyed the messaging of the lesson without unnecessary visual fluff.

Writing the script is one of my favourite parts of the process. It allows the team and client to get a sense of where the project is heading before putting pencil to iPad.
